Egg, putting aside the fact that I enjoy sparring with you, I am one who will judge Doc at the end of the season on how he brought the youngsters along. We should win a bunch of games like last night, and Doc could insert Davis and Pruitt for meaningful minutes. That's much more important than garbage minutes. With Posey taking much of the minutes from Scal, I hope, it will not be easy. But Scal and Pollard are not the future of our frontcourt; Davis may be (in part). Also, Pruitt needs time to develop. He's a real talent. I'm not suggesting a definite role, but in games where we balloon to a 15 point lead in the second quarter, I would insert Davis instead of Scal and let the guy gain some confidence. Likewise, I would use Pruitt for short minutes alongside several of the bigs. House may be the present, but he's a dime a dozen regarding our future; Pruitt may be Rondo's partner for a long time. And, if nothing else, we (gag) improve their trade value that way.
