I'm curious as to why folks think House is a better
shooter than Delonte.
House's career FG % is 41% (it's been higher in recent years).
West's career FG% is 45%.
House's career 3-point % is 38%.
West's career 3-point % is 38%.
House shoots 3's a bit more often (33% of his shots vs.
29% of West's), which lowers House's overall FG % a bit.
I feel West's shooting is likely to improve (I could be
wrong); House is far enough into his career that I think
he won't get better (though maybe having really open
shots will help him; of course, it would also help
West).
So, why is House perceived as a better shooter? Is it
just because his shot looks so good when it goes in?
Games are won on points, not style.
