Came across some old friends while clicking around with the remote tonight...

* Kedrick Brown  --- taken with the #9 pick in the NBDL reallocation 
draft. 6 years later, IIRC, that's 2 picks earlier than he was taken 
in the NBA draft.   It would be interesting to see if he's matured as 
a player at all.  He's still only 26.


(FWIW, Utah -- the DLeague team that Boston shares with the Utah Jazz 
--- took Kevin Kruger in the 1st round;  Kevin Pittsnogle was also 
taken in the 1st round).



* Blount Stuffed by Maxiell --- as I was flipping back and forth 
between the oddity of the DLeague Reallocation draft and the MIA/DET 
game, I was rewarded by getting to see Jason Maxiell --- all 6-7 of 
him absolutely SWAT Mark Blount's fadeaway shot.  Such joy.

A few plays later Alonzo Mourning made a hard foul on a player Blount 
had let waltz by him with a half-assed defensive effort.  Are there 2 
teamates that are any more opposite in terms of demeanor than Blount 
and Mourning?  I have a sneeking suspicion that if a fight were to 
break out this seaosn in a Miami game, Zo might try and get a shot in 
on Blount.



(the other) mark  -- still in 1st place (Pollard's Playmakers) in the 
IGTC Fantasy Keeper League after 2 days!  :)
