PGs + interesteing list of FAs next year....

1. POINT GUARDS

-- Atlanta Coach Mike Woodson has wisely, IMO, said that he want's to name
a starter among his 4 PGs and stick with it. While i've been pleasantly
surprised with the play of House and Pruitt, I think we should make a hard
run at whichever of Anthony Johnson and Tyronn Lue (a good friend of KG)
is 3rd on the depth chart. Both Johnson and Lue would be solid backups and
have NBA Finals experience.




2. RESTRICTED FA'S NEXT SUMMER

--I'm pretty surprised a tthe number of players who will be Restricted
FA's next summer.  I'm guessing most teams looked at what happened with
Pavlovic and Varejao and figured they could get guys cheaper...

But i think that might backfire.  A number of these guys could say "screw
it" play their final season then become unrestricted FAs. It's all sort of
irrelevant to the C's since we have ZERO ability to make an offer taht
wouldn't be matched but, still, look at this list:
