Ni hao Jianlian

Heaven help me ... A few weeks ago I was looking forward to watching
Rick Carlisle (or anyone else) coaching Greg Oden. Now we're going to go
into the season with Doc Rivers coaching a Chinese guy. Unless, of
course, our impetuous fanboy owner and I'm-smarter-than-you GM trade the
pick for someone else's garbage in a desperate attempt to take advantage
of Pierce's "window" -- as if we're just a trade away.

I want to throw up.

Mark

I for one, feel a lot safer with the Chinese guys. You're right that
the level of competition isn't that good. But this guy *has* played
pretty well in international competition.

Here's chad ford's take on it:

Just hope isn't drafted 3rd or 4th :)
