Bad Boy Spurs?

They said that dunk/fall wasn't an "altercation." In my mind, they could
have used the same kind of argument for the Nash-Horry thing. It never
escalated beyond Nash grabbing his jersey.
It's ridiculous.

did anyone else catch Jalen Rose on ESPN pointing out (with
incontrovertable video evidence) that Tim Duncan left the bench in the
2nd
quarter (when Elson dunked then fell over James Jones)?
It would be ticky-tack but it's technically the same violation as
Diaw/Stoudamire.
I'm curious how in this video age more of a big deal is not being made
of
it by the Suns or someone close to the Suns.

The suspensions send a horrible message. The league is rewarding the
Spurs
for these obvious tactics. This is such a shame, as this series was one
of
the best since the 80's. My respect for Popovich and Duncan is gone -
the
"win at any cost" ethic is not appropriate in sports. This really sucks.

Interesting strategy taken by the Spurs, apparently lifted from the Bad
Boy
Pistons of the late '80's:
1. Smash Steve Nash in the nose.
2. Knee Steve Nash in the groin.
3. Body check Steve Nash into the stands.
What next, elbow to Steve Nash's solar plexus? Sweep the leg?
I am surprised the league has let this garbage go one (although maybe
not
so surprised since it's probably pumping up the ratings). But this is
bad
for the sport.
