It's a balance of talent, youth, veterans, athleticism, brains, offense,
defense, character, leadership, yadda, yadda, yadda. It's not an absolute of
"it's just talent, character doesn't mean anything" while likewise "it's all
character, talent doesn't mean anything" is BS too. That's the entire point
- Ainge has to do his damn homework this time not mea culpa and say "well,
we didn't think Wally's knee was that bad...".

A bad apple can spoil the barrel meaning nothing to eat just as having a
bunch of just apple cores and no fruit - sometimes it's one, sometimes the
other - sometimes both. Didn't you just point that out in the mythbusters
thread about absolutes?
