hoping that no matter who we get in the draft that we
make a concerted effort to keep clifford ray and find
a defensive-minded assistant coach, a la dick harter. 

and if we're changing head coaches, we'll need one who
can bring the kids along, relate to them, get them to
buy in to whatever he's doing. not sure if carlisle is
the right type, but i could be proven wrong. going
from the indy mess to the relative peacefulness of the
celts bunch would be a shock, no doubt. 

anyone know if ainge and carlisle were very close? 

speaking of coaches, another very intriguing
possibility would be mario ellie. not much experience,
but neither did avery johnson, and i loved ellie's
game--tough as a titty bar steak.
