I would think that Carlise or anyone else being courted by the Celtics would wait until May 22nd as well before making a decision about joining the team.
   
  The C's don't have to give Doc an extension, he is under contract for another year.

Don't think much of Paul Silas as a coach, but I've always wanted Don
Nelson. And Carlisle would be a significant upgrade on Doc.
