< Mark, you've got to get off this size at all costs kick. >

ODEN vs. DURANT. Like soup bubbles, the two spheres of thinking
among our listees will not become one... each being impenetrable
to the other.
For what it's worth, put me down for Oden as the no-brainer
choice for our particular team and situation. Although Danny is
doing his best to promote Durant.
< Now stop, or I'll bring back the old posts where you gushed
over Josh McRoberts ... >
- SteveO
That's assuming that McRoberts will be another Peter John Ramos.
I think all predictions are pretty funny. Following the 2004
draft, you posted:
"In the spirit of my previous email, I think we should all be held
responsible for who we would have selected 24 and 25 this year,
if not West and Allen." >
- Steve O
Here are some of the now amusing responses to your poll.
< Personally, I would have selected Delonte West and a big guy
... Peter John Ramos edging out David Harrison and Anderson
Varejao. >
- SteveO
< Good point steve -- 3 years from now we'll all be able to point to
who we would have picked. i think the 2 picks were right. Truly the
Best Players Available, i believe. >
- MarkP
< I'm happy with the draft picks, but if I was going to take different picks;
1 - Vujacic or Udrih (with preference given to the one that isn't going
to come this year - keeping a roster spot this year and adding a first
round pick in a subsequent year for free)
2 - Peter Jon Ramos (who I think will either be a wild success or a real
stiff). >
- John (Fozzyrocks)
< I can't stand Varejao -- gayest hair in the history of the NBA.
I can't even stand to look at his picture. A six-ten Kenny G
is the last thing I ever want to see in Green and White.>
- JoshO
< Good idea. Put me down for -
#24 - Martin (due to his height, shooting ability, and future "upside")
#25 - Varejao (due to his appealing floppy hair style and Shane Battier
personality). >
