Michael Jordan is the ONLY swingman exception to the championship list.
Ewing is the only real exception to the big man winning a championship list.
 
Those who fail to observe history are doomed to repeat it, and while in ONE
draft the mistake was made in taking Bowie over Jordan; the vast majority of
true franchise centers coming out of college have won a title - not just one
or two, but the majority - Shaq, Robinson, Duncan, Olajuwon. 
 
He's not overemphasizing the point at all - franchise swingman can be
difference makers. Franchise centers win championships.

And if Garnett and Lebron were available, I'd take them over Ewing without
hesitating. I'd have to think about Nowitzki and Wade. 
 
You don't have to be a big man to be a difference maker. I think you're
overemphasizing the point.
