ok, so we're going to get a high pick. if 1 or 2,
we'll undoubtedly take oden or durant if they come
out. if we slide lower, i assume we'll make a trade
for veteran talent. 

if that comes to pass, or even if we get oden/durant,
one or more of the young guys will have to go to get
major talent back. my preference is telfair or
perkins, but not sure they will get us much, even if
wally is included to balance salary. the others that
have more value include west and gomes. i wouldn't
want to trade either of them, but would be willing to
if the right deal comes along. i think of them both as
real celtics, but you have to give away talent to
receive it. 

from what i've seen so far, although gerald has a long
way to go, you just can't move a shooter like him--he
has a ray allen stroke and lots of range and you can
see he'll get better and better. al isn't going
anywhere. rondo is a keeper. any thoughts on who we
should be willing to package to get better at the end
of the year? the obvious ones are wally, telfair,
perkins, but will that really get us much?
