how we lost the lead

In the third quarter, we suffered from several perennial problems. Al got two shots and three points. Paul kept us alive with his shooting, but his floor play hurt. Shooting too quickly, dribbling down with Rondo ahead of him, losing the ball due to double teams--it just about evens out. West made bad decisions in driving into the trees plus he just didn't even try to find Al. And, Scal assumed that he could make more threes and looked to shoot first. What these have in common is that they're supposed to be our high IQ guys; well, not tonight. They're also a half-step slow and shouldn't be on the court together.
The overall zip of the team was lacking in the 3rd; rebounding gave away too much. Maybe Doc will get an outside analyst to review some tapes and point out some problems. Just to look at the box score and see that Telfair didn't play after hailing him as a key in the Rocket victory--what's with that? Plus, Powe can't be inserted when we need some rebounding zeal?? Cheers, Gene
