My wife found me still sitting on the couch this morning at 6:45am with
my jaw hanging open. Apparently I entered some sort of catatonic state
when I first heard of the "trade".
 
My initial random thoughts for anyone that cares.........
1)     Ummmmm I guess Chris Wallace wasn't the problem with this team
2)     Please don't compare this trade to the 'Nique signing. He was a
free agent and we gave up nothing but $ for him. (if memory serves me
right) This acquisition cost much more.
3)     Paul Pierce will never lead us to the promised land. At this
point, I view him as worse than Kobe. At least Kobe is evil out in the
open. Demanding a veteran or trade, we should have gone with the trade.
4)     Loved the intensity D West brought, will miss him. Bassy must
have used one of his guns to "persuade" the C's to trade of the pg's
ahead of him.
5)     Nice to see the Celtics as a conversation piece during the draft,
too bad it was just people laughing at us.
6)     Big Baby is a nice pickup at that # 35.
7)     More years of watching players that could/should/were Celtics
help other team win games while we have a "star" that has never been
able to make his team mates better and a former "All Star" with bad
wheels. A now the potential next move of trading a potential star
forward for Garnett (the one with 200000 miles on him)
8)     As Bob Cousy would say..... Wed, Wed, this is a wevoltin
pwedicamint. I'm vairwy, vairwy depwessed. Way Awan, is not going to
wesolve our pwoblems. Hoewy Cwap!!
9)     Ouch.........and to beat the dead horse, hey at least the dance
team will be back!
