ahh, egg.... always a beam of sunshine in the morning.
Mine proposal DOESN"T have big Al and won't. Sorry i might have been
unclear, i meant that BOS would replace ATL's offer in the proposed 3-way
that sends KG-> PHO, Amare -> X and picks/kids -> MIN
Wouldn't you agree that McHale has nearly painted himself into a corner? I
think KG woulda stayed at least another year, but like Iverson who was
fine until always being on the block, will now probably want out.
And no, if I had Stoudemire I wouldn't trade him for #5, Green, Wally, a
MIN #1 and Ratliff; neither would PHO... they're trading Stoudemire for
KG, remember? And I think --- as probably Kerr does --- that a hungry KG
gives them a better chance at a title next season.
But evidently MIN doesnt' (for some reason) want Amare. We can't give
them #3 and #11 as ATL was rumored to, but #5, Green, Wally and a future
#1 is as close as they may get.
We're in the driver's seat -- we don't NEED KG (though most wwant him if
it doesn't cost AL) and I believe Ainge in that he's not moving Al for KG.
So MIN might, esp. as the draft draws closer... blink as Mark B. put it.
that's where i come up with that stuff. Happy draft day!

El gran huevo, read my post. I never proposed this. My trade proposal
would have to include Al going to Minnesota in return for Amare, if
Phoenix was rally willing to give him up for Garnett, Marion likley isn't
going to get it done.

Where the heck do you and jlyell come up with all this stuff?
If we had Amare, would you trade him for Ratliff, #5, and the
IQ -challenged Gerald Green? I doubt it. Phoenix wants to win
a title next season, not take a step backwards.
