If Paul is ready to demand a trade, then package him with a pick and go younger, although getting a few good players would be better. I feel for Paul, but if his attitude sours, then his play will follow and he's (like Al) a superior offensive talent who lacks much on the other end.
See what we can get for him regarding this draft. Come away with Brewer and Ji or somesuch and move on.

I was quite nonplussed about the trade rumors involving O'Neal. I would like to add low post defense, but certainly would not like to lose Al in the bargain. Imagine my angst for a moment: I returned home from vacation to find that lightning had fried my TVs and computer, not to mention the phones. I had to rely on ESPN radio and they were reporting that we were trading Al and #5 for O'Neal, while giving the Lakers the boost they wanted, not to mention Minny our future. I did not, however, cut my wrists, but calmly showered and came to the office where I learned that such a trade was not imminent. That Ainge does not want to part with Al is my hope. Especially since I will be able to upgrade my TV for the upcoming season. Still, we need defense. So, trade Paul for a defensive player or a pick in this draft? I also want to see the troika of Rondo, Paul, and Al this year, but It's time to consider it. Gene
