It doesn't have to, in the context of hall-of-fame voting, which is the
comment to which I was responding. Fifteen years from now (or whatever it
is in the NBA), when he's up for consideration, voters will simply ask,
"Did he win a championship?" If he did, then they check that box on the
"traditional thinking" requirements sheet, and move on. Just my opinion
of hall-of-fame voting ...
