1.  Sounds like -- as Jesse Jackson said in perhaps my favorite SNL skit
ever -- "the question is MOOT"!

KG's agent is saying he doesn't want to go to Boston and that if traded
he'd probably opt out next summer. If Jefferson was to have been included
it would only be if KG was at least cool with playing out his deal here.

2.  My fear is that this is all going to become fodder for the anti-Ainge
crowd --- "see how bad a GM he is? he was gonna trade Jefferson, #5, Green
for KG"....  If all that was offered and the deal didn't go down, then
McHale is a worse GM than Isaiah... I still find it hard to believe that
unless we were getting something more back, Jefferson, Green AND #5 were
all offered for KG.


I have longed for KG in a Boston uni for sometime and felt like we might
have the best chance -- but also felt like (as with the lottery) there was
actually a much better chance that KG wants to stay in MIN (which i think
he does).


OK, i'll stop, my head is spinning..... Wait, what's that about going
after Kirilenko?  :)
