Welcome back. Why ease into things? Here's a doozy for you to chew on
(chew well; we don't want to irritate that colon ... )

Chad Ford is reporting that the "hot rumor" is the Celtics and T-Wolves
talking Garnett trade. He says it would be Jefferson, Gerald, Telfair,
Theo and No. 5 for Garnett.

That's too rich for my blood. I'm not trading Al for a 31-year-old
Garnett with a ton of miles on him (remember, he has been playing big
NBA minutes since he graduated from high school).

I hate that we're so pig-headedly trying to build this around Pierce.
It's so stupid.

 I wanted to apologize for the long layoff - not that I haven't wanted
to
participate, but I unfortunately had to get a little chunk of my colon
removed on the 7th (Woohoo!).  I've finally caught up on the usual great
news, information and debate round here. 

 

Thank you to all here who provided a nice respite and diversion during
my
recovery phase with continued draft talk and yes, even the dreaded
"proposed
trades that will never happen but are fun for some to speculate on". All
is
well and I'm back to work - and actually looking forward to the draft
even
though we're not #1 on the board.
