Kirilenko --- i'd love to get him in green and think he'd be great
alongside Jeffereson and Pierce. I would MUCH rather send Wally, Green and
Gomes for him than the #5 though.

as far as his drop off goes, it seems to me it was/is a function of (a)
his being injured off-and-on and (b) the team's changing makeup and his
place in it. What had been Kirilenko's team for the last few years is now
Boozer & DWilliams'... I think Kirilenko has struggled revising his role
while on the same team (not an easy thing to do -- just thinking of my
work life).

Green, Gerald --- don't get me wrong I really like Gerald and think he
will be good to great in this league, but if we can upgrade from him to a
guy like Kirilenko or J. O'neal -- a proven all-star type guy -- i think
you take the gamble. We're all worried about giving up another Joe
Johnson... but that's not as big a worry IMO b/c we'd be getting back MUCH
MORE than a Delk/Rogers combo.

Green, Jeff --- real surprised to see his name surface in the potential 6
the C's are looking at. again, i like the guy, but 5 seems pretty high.
Though it seems like he could mature into a Deng/Pierce type, so maybe the
C's see him as a down the road replacement.

Other draft trades --- If this draft is as deep as its made out to be, i
would have no problem trying to move a young guy + next year's pick for a
2nd pick this year.

And we only have ONE #1 next year... someone intimated we had 2. The
earliest we can now get the MIN pick (by my calculations) is 3 drafts from
now (i.e. 2010)

Tony Allen --- that article reminded me just how good Allen was playing
before he went down. If TA can come back at even 80%, i think he's a key
contributor.

Brewer --- Steve Knight said he considers him a more offensively polished
version of Pippen... I'd say he's less offensively polished than Pippen. I
don't remember exactly how Pippen was when he came into the league, but
Brewer won't be known as a scorer primarily... 15-19 ppg seems his
ceiling.

Tyronn Lue --- still would like to add a vet backup PG. Lue fits the bill.
