Bird and Walsh are fans of Harter's defensive principles which Obie has
adopted as well. I'm waiting to see Jermaine O'Neal start raining 3s
personally. 
 
Okay, that was kind've a joke - Obie did make much better use of his
personnel then Pitino and did allow for SOME adaptation from the system for
those players who didn't fit the "chuck and defend" model whereas Pitino
allowed none (which led to the constant trading). He got players to buy into
defense as well. From his Philly days however, was his downfall continuing
to use the flawed 3 point reliance offense or merely his clashes with Allen
Iverson?

SNIP Unlike some on this list, I was a fan of Obie's when he was here. (Hey,
he took the team to the Eastern
Conference Finals! Oops, wait...) But his subsequent performance in Philly
has me wondering what the heck
Bird/Walsh are thinking.
