re: Dajuan Wagner - Just read an article about him trying to get back in
the league. Apparantly he has colitis and had major surgery to replace
part of his colon. UC a tough disease with no cure, and diet can play a
major part. One has to get out of denial about the illness, and into
reality about things like diet & meds. For a young person (my step-son
has Crohn's), sometimes it just takes time and learning by experience.
That said, it never goes away and when it flares up, you are one sick
puppy. The kid sure knows how to score, though.

On the trade, how can you top the BSG?
<saying McHale still plays for the Cs>
"How else could you explain his (McHale's) decision to trade Kevin
Garnett to Boston for the Al Jefferson pu pu platter deluxe?"

I was happy about the reports of Telfair putting his nose to the
grindstone over the summer. To keep that momentum going for him, he
needs to be further away from NYC than just a drive up I-95. GGreen -
love the kid, but he can't buy a clue. Gomes - sorry to lose him but not
a deal breaker. We kept my 2 favorite kids: Rondo and LEON POWE. Plus we
added Davis. Jefferson I still see as injury prone, and he will never be
the defensive presence that Garnett is.

Kevin Garnett, folks!! He is Bird caliber. We haven't seen enough of him
over the years, ditto for Ray Allen. My reactions to the proposed KG
trade at draft day were NO, but this is different. Now that 24 hours
has passed, I'm able to get my head around it, sort of, and I am
psyched! Pierce needed a #1 dog, which he hasn't had since Antoine - KG
fits that to a T. Wow. I didn't quite realize how much I had been
lulled to sleep over the past 20 years.

Woohoo!

Only time will tell whether this is a Hershel Walker type deal, but
Garnett still has some years left. The challenge now is to complete the
roster.

Dwayne Jones is an FA can he help inside for 5-10 minutes a game real
cheap? Marc Jackson might also.

Garnett should help with the development of Powe & Davis, making the
loss ol Al a bit easier to take.

We need come bench perimeter help, can anyone think of anyone out there
that can help us in this area? Jannero Parfgo signed soemeahre correct?

How about Jay Willams or Dejuan Wagner? Do they have anything? Where is
Spree now?
Dee Brown might be worth a workout
