Good possibly great trade

Josh, I think the big problem with the deal that many people have is that it
was likely it for major moves for the Celtics this year. Given cap and tax
issues, there isnt likely to be another trade of that magnitude leading to a
fear that this is the team we go to war with. Maybe the Chinese Brad Lohaus
might have been better if it had paved the way for a deal in August or
January for the big piece we need. Then again, maybe the ownership decides
to go for it and deals Al and Ratliff for a veteran who negates the need to
use Ratliff's salary for Al's extension.
If this is all part of a move that nets us KG and you go to war with KG,
Allen, and Pierce then I am 100% on board with it. I just fear that this
will be one more half measure with this team that keeps cycling us from
borderline playoff team to awful team as the years go by.
