Gasol had the 9th most blocked shots in the league last year and has
averaged 1.8 per game over his career.

Al jefferson's career blocks per game is less than 1 with a high of 1.5
this year.

I wouldn't call al a better shot blocker, unless by better you mean
worse.

I think I disagree with almost everything Ryan says :-) Gasol is not a 
great defender either, and Al is a better shot blocker, and as good or 
better in the low post and on the glass. Yes, Gasol is clearly a better 
player right now, but not by a huge amount. Al very well may never get 
there, but he is gaining.

And if you said Al and Gasol could split the 4 and 5 spots I would buy 
it, but there's no way Gasol plays the 3. He get telfaired on defense 
every night.
