I saw the game & would be happy with Durant on the C's but he's not in
the same class as Carmelo in college(fundamentally sound, all-around
dominant, championship college player). Durant looks like a really
gutsy, Johnathan Bender/Rashard Lewis type: Great rifleman (which we
have lots of), average I/Q (settled for contested shots every single
time), has a hook shot, not dominant off the dribble.

I also saw Julian Wright (another 6'9/special SF) of Kansas the night
before. He'd also be a phenom Celtic. Best point forward SF I've seen
since Pippen/Hill. DEFENSE, Physical play, IQ, leadership, PG handles,
makes teammates better. Danny Manning who's on the staff says the kid
sees plays, and has better vision than he ever had as a pro.

Losing big this year will pay off for Danny. The draft is going to be a
goldmine if everyone comes out.

Watched the TX-OK State game last night: Durant went for 37, just
catching and shooting threes in clutch situations. If you haven't seen
him, don't wait for the tournament. You will begin going back, way
back, to find a college player who impresses this much.
