sorry, so my point was that I'm OK with where we're headed b/c we're 
going there not b/c of a lack of trying but lack of health and 
epxerience.  Very diff. IMO than what CLE did to get Lebron and what 
we tried (Brett Szabo anyone?) to get Duncan.


That said we're gonna need to sign a guy or 2 to 10 day contracts. 
I'd like to see the Akingbala kid get another shot.  Heck I was alos 
a Thomas Mobley fan from 2005 Summer League.

I'm fine too with getting Allan Ray some mins -- if for no othr 
reason than to see if he's really an NBA bench guy or not.

But i think allen's mins should go to Green and Rondo.

If you mean Oden (and you may not), I just don't get this line of
thought.  Even if we have the worst record in the league (which
will be a challenge, even now), the odds are heavily against us
getting the #1 pick.

The NBA has put some effort into making it unprofitable to tank
the season.  Of all the strategies for trying to improve a team,
losing games to get the #1 pick has to be the worst.  You give up
an entire season, then get to watch some other team take "your"
prize.

Don't people remember how it felt last time?
