Danny's commentating

I think this has been covered previously on the list,
but just because you have the League Pass doesn't mean
you *automatically* recieve NBA-TV. Instead, it's at
the discretion of your local cable provider to provide
what amounts to a 'new channel'.

In my particular case, since I'm home for the holidays
and have to stream the games from the NBA League Pass
Broadband, NBA-TV games are not available because,
technically, NBA-TV games are the only games, in
addition to those games shown on ABC, that are not a
part of the League Pass.

And for all those thinking about the broadband option,
which is actually very forward thinking for the NBA,
it's not all bad. The biggest downside is that the
games can't be downloaded, only streamed, which means
you have to watch the games with a steady internet
connection. And, since I'm hip and/or easily fall
prey to slick advertising and use a Mac and not a
Windows laptop, I've been additionally screwed because
the software used to stream the games is not very
compatible with MacIntosh. But, on a windows machine
with a steady high-speed connection, it's almost like
watching it on TV. Almost.
