10 reasons why Celts will still lose

Gene,
Can I ask you one question I've been asking myself lately - what do you like
better: watching the ob-ball and 'Toine wiggling in the playoffs or the kids
playing now their tails off just to stay in the game?
Just trying to put everything's happening this season in the right
perspective myself - and still struggling finding the right answer.
10. We start on the West coast and the kids will have the right perspective
what does it mean to play it right - any blowout loss will get them closer
to their prime.
9. They will be able to capitalize on their losses to win games at home.
8. March madness will bring our picks value way up - way to go if Danny will
follow Paul's wish to go after a prime time vet.
7. Most of our opponents are still puzzled by the kids - this is not like a
vet gang when you know exactly what to expect.
6. GG will get his confidence up high - and will stop pulling for a j when
he can dunk over the biggest defenders in this league. We'll get a Vinsanity
#2 playing alongside with Paul, and Wally will become an instant 6th man,
that will save his legs to be most productive in a while.
5. Pierce will be relieved by the kids coming along to help him out on the
defensive end to be more productive on the offense.
4. The team will get in the shape of the season - there is no pressure
anymore, everybody can relax and just play his game. Either way we win.
3. West will put himself in the true point guard category - enough with this
BS 2-guard stupidity. He's not. When he played alongside with Nelson - he
was the point (if you ever seen their games).
2. Scal becomes a vocal vet influence that can actually fix the kidz brain -
they really NEED that. This is not a situation with the Pacers when that
have to trade players just to stop screwing the young players - we DO have
the right players around the kidz to actually HELP them growing up. Danny
did well - money well spent!!!
1. Enough with this Doc BS. Let's admit it - I can hardly see any other
coach keep bringing the kids along, and not tolerating this goal with
toady's stats that mean absolutely nothing. This is all about the future -
we will not be a contender, even with Wally and Paul absolutely healthy the
whole season. Al finally found his game with Perk on the bench, West emerged
as a prime time point, Rondo pushed Telfair aside to get yet another trade
bait for Danny, GG slowly emerges as not just a prime time scorer - but a
true player for years to come. We actually have a luxury of choosing between
good and better. Enjoy the ride! :-)
