I dunno - Bucks gave the Mavs a pretty good game
tonight, judging by the box score. At least, until the
4th quarter. But maybe you're right and they'll be
tired.
Hey, just for kicks, let me run this stupid trade idea
by you guys: Grant Hill's rumored to be on the move.
C's are rumored to want Gasol, but Grizzlies don't
want Pierce. Could Danny and West be talking about a
three-way?
Boston sends Pierce to Orlando, then ships Hill's
expiring contract to Memphis for Gasol. Memphis would
want some sweetener (Gerald Green? Travis Diener?) but
would get out from under Pau's salary.
Advantages for Boston: Gasol is 5 years younger than
Pierce and cleans out the glut of wing players we'll
(ostensibly) have when Allen & Wally come back
healthy. Assuming we can still luck into a top-two
pick, Gasol + Jefferson + Oden/Durant could make a
helluva frontcourt.
Just stirring the pot.
