True, but us "glass half full" folk can minimize the shortcomings, or act like ostriches and enjoy the sense of warmth and security one gets from inserting one's head far into ... the sand.

I assure you my error was not intentional. I misread Dec.
29 (10-18 record) for Dec. 20 (10-14 record), and apologize 
if it was misleading. 

Certainly our team is so pitiful that no one has to fabricate or 
exaggerate its shortcomings.
