Wow, imagine a lineup with him and four munchkins - Telfair, Allan
Ray, Rondo and Lucky (OK, maybe Delonte instead of Lucky, who seems to
be about 5-5).
It would be like the lineup that Don Nelson used to put out occasionally
in his first stint with the Warriors - Manute Bol, Tim Hardaway, Mitch
Richmond, Sarunas Marciulionis, and Chris Mullin - but more dramatic and
less effective.
In the 80's, there was a player, Aleksandr Sizonenko, in the USSR's
top league who was officially listed at 7-9, but actually closer to 8
feet tall (the Soviets had a habit of underlisting the players' actual
height, especially for the really tall players). He couldn't run, just
walk. The wild part is, he still kept growing! He's now apparently
around 8-3.
