Because then it looks like the team sucks more.

This is what I was alluding to. They were generally beating bad teams,
which is what teams have to go if they want to be called one of the good
teams. Does anyone know how they did in those losses to better teams?
Were they getting blown out regularly? Or were they hanging with good
teams, and coming up just a little short?
