This Neggative "spin" isn't completely accurate. As John Adams once said, "Facts are stubborn things."
Pierce went injured after the loss to Golden Stateon 12/20. If you count that loss, when it was obvious to anyone who knows basketball that he wasn't quite right, the team was 10-14. I'm not sure why 4 losses were tacked on by the poster.
Right before that loss the team was gelling and had put together a 5 game winning streak. If you furhter study the losses, you see that 6 of them came against what are currently the top 32 teams in every division in the East, plus losses against Phoenix and Utah.
Without the injuries, this was a playoff team. No doubt in my mind.
