Durant at night

Like probably everyone on this list, I can't think objectively about
Larry Bird. But I will say that if Bird wasn't the passer he was, it
would be an easy decision. Bird's passing is what separated him, in my
opinion.

I think even Telfair would be surprised to see "flashy scoring
numbers" next to his name. :)

I wonder why Phoenix didn't pursue Telfair last year instead of
signing Banks? Would have been nice to flip Telfair within a few
minutes of acquiring him to the Suns for their pick to get Rondo,
instead of giving up the Cleveland first-rounder this year.

On a different note: Marcus Williams is in the rookie challenge but
Rondo is not, even though they are putting up almost identical
numbers.

And a p.s. on Durant/Oden: I like your comparisons very much though
I'd probably take Dirk ahead of Ewing, but for a different
perspective, if you do the Jordan draft over again, do you still take
Hakeem ahead of him? Alternatively, by your logic would you take
Chamberlain (or Kareem?) over Bird? (I know you would take Russell
over Bird... everybody ought to.)
