Durant at night

I listened to some of the Texas/Texas Tech game on the way home last night.  Then I was surprised that Durant ended up with 37 and 23.  He had about 20 points going into the last quarter of the game.  In the end, he outscored the opponents in the second half on their floor against a B. Knight defense.  Maybe I was understating it when comparing him to Melo.  He may just be in the King James category and that's a slender group.  Don't dismiss the thought until you've seen him play.  He's averaging over thirty in conference play and the Big 12 is largely a defensive minded conference.  So, could he be the better pick?  Cheers, Gene
