Directv pecking order on braodcasts

Sorry, my mistake.

Ok, let me list the possibilities.

If you live in the local Boston area, and get the FSNE/Comcast local
channel, then THAT channel is where you tune to get the Celtics
games, and for the most part, you don't NEED the NBA League Pass.

If you live OUTSIDE the local Boston area, then you get the GAME on
the appropriate NBALP channel that is showing that night's game (it
varies, so it's not always the same channel number, sadly, but it'll
be NBA 1, NBA2, etc.). However, if you also get the local Celtics
channel, you CAN get pre- and post- game stuff on the local Celtics
channel, though the game *itself* will be blacked out.

The "NBAtv" channel (not the one with the ads, the one with actual
programming) is the one you use if the game is broadcast on NBAtv
(unless you are in Local Boston area, then you *might* get both,
depending on which feed NBAtv uses)

DirecTV just carries the feed, they really don't know much about it.

Hope this helps.
