Sheesh, didn't mean to inspire a referendum on Doc's
coaching or general worth as a human being. It was
just odd that nobody (here or at the Boston papers)
made mention of the kid's first DNP-CD in a while.

I wonder if Doc was partly motivated by the timing of
the Herald's big story on Davis - keeping the kid
humble, that sort of thing. Matchups aside, there
certainly would have been ample opportunities to get
the kid into a 20-point blowout, so I assume Doc was
sending a message. Will be interesting to see if/how
he plays tonight.
