Or, to remove the ridiculous degree of frothing at the mouth, perhaps
Davis loafed a bit, or was late to a meeting, or disobeyed some minor team
rule, and as a result, he's sitting for a little while.  Gee, being a
hard-ass when dealing with a rookie.  What a strange concept.  Unless you
travel with the team, what makes any of us think we can really understand
such things, or explain them by insulting someone who seems to be a
basically decent-enough fellow?  Do I think Doc's the best coach ever?  Of
course not.  An arse?  Huh?
