Bye bye big intangible, we hardly knew thee

I was that "unnamed poster," and I stand by what I said then. The fact that
the C's released Wallace yesterday doesn't give your evaluation any more
credibility in my eyes.
The C's are in a unique position. I'm not sure what their expectations were
heading into the season, but the realize now they could very well contend
for the NBA title immediately, and so they're going to fire all their
ammo. Another year, it might make sense to keep Wallace and invest the time
in developing him. This season, it makes more sense to try to land a
veteran PG or big man to fill that spot.
As George Allen liked to say, The Future is Now.
