The final final word

I think he's adjusting to not having the ball in his hands as much and
not having every play designed to get him a good shot. He has to pick
his spots more now. Even the slightest hesitation -- should I shoot or
should I pass -- can throw off the rhythm and confidence of a shooter.

That's my theory right now. If this continues, at some point we'll have
to question his age and the minutes he's playing.

Allen's recent shooting woes are troubling.  I suspect they are a result
of
a combination of things such as minutes, more focus and expended energy
on
the defensive end, not having the ball in his hands as much consequently
not
getting into his normal rhythm, poor shot selection (especially the
Miami
game), a tender ankle, and Garnett verbally and physically abusing him
after
he misses a shot ;-)
