It has ever been so. Think the teams that took Kris
Humphries, Rafael Arajuo, Luke Jackson or (ahem)
Sebastien Telfair ahead of Big Al in 2004 would like a
mulligan?

As for Garnett v. Gorman, when I woke up this morning
the Celtics were a league-best 14-2. If the guy who's
made that possible gets on Mike Gorman's nerves, well,
gee, I guess that's just too bad. Personally, as long
as the Cs continue to win at this clip, KG can throw a
bucket of baking soda on Mike's coiffure as part of
his pre-game ritual.
Let's get real, people. One of the most talented, most
competitive and, yes, classiest athletes to ever walk
through that door has made our long-suffering team the
toast of the league, and people want to denigrate how
he psyches himself up for a game? Seriously? It's not
like we're talking about Steven Jackson here.
