Thank you Shawn and everyone else who commented on this thread.
I left the game anticipating writing an article to include this issue  
and was surprised to see it already raised here.
By reading all your posts, I was able (hopefully) to anticipate many  
of the reactions my column would arouse and wrote it accordingly.
