Mike Gorman getting chalked etc.

I can understand why Gorman would get tired of the chalk thingy. BUT I think he should consider that with a successful team more people watch the games and thus his name recognition increases. I mean most folks that aren't like us who watched the team when they were losing 18 straight and there is likely a sizeable constituency that wouldn't know Mike Gorman from Lou Gorman.

The guys on this Celtics team will be "rock stars" in Boston come March as the only game in town and Mike Gorman will ride those coattails. If he plays his cards right, he'll leverage his name recognition into a fat new contract with lots of guarantees (including a pretty little parachute), so if the chalk thingy is bugging him he ought to step aside because there are of lot of folks behind him that won't give a lick about that. Players make the world go round , not the announcers.

Besides kids love sidewalk chalk, I smell an endorsement if Mikey plays his cards right....
