Mike Gorman getting chalked etc.

Mike not only need to look spiffy because he's on tv, he's also
hooked up to some expensive electronic equipment that doesn't react
well to chalk dust.
Personally, I think it's be ok if KG blew just a trace of it in Mike
Gorman's general direction from a few feet away. The "ritual" would
be satisfied, and Gorman wouldn't need to bring the pregame
proceedings to a screeching halt so Garnett can do his "Dust in the
Wind" thing. Does anyone know if he did this in Minnesota?
Mike Gorman has always been a classy guy, and is probably reluctant
to complain about a relatively minor thing at a time when the C's
need as few distractions as possible.
That said, I think KG is also a classy guy, just that he's so
concentrated on the game, he may not realize that what he's doing may
be causing a problem. I bet if he thought about it, he'd
stop. Maybe someone will quietly point this out to him.
Lucky it's not me he does that to each night. I'd be ready for him
with one of those "super soaker" water cannons, and yes, there'd be
green food coloring mixed in. Yes, I DO have medical insurance,
since you ask... :)
I treat Greg like a commercial and zap past him on tivo. Not his
fault, as such, he's supposed to be the "comedy relief" reporter. I
think the trend is silly no matter which team does it. All you need
at the game is the play-by-play and the color commentator. Maybe one
person back in the studio in case of a technical glitch, or to report
on other relevant games in progress at halftime.
