Dulling our point

 Our offense was more efficient when Tony Allen played point? Isn't that
like saying "When Jaws sank the Orca, at least he didn't eat the life
vests."? I guess being floating fish food IS more efficent then sinking
fish food.
 
Spin Spin Spin - at least that part of Ainge's "game" remains constant.
Note to Danny - the Garnett acquisition sold your season tickets man -
you can ease off the "Spin-ometer". 
 
To the point however, I actually don't mind R. Allen at the point some.
He's not a creator, but he, like Wally, knows how to move the ball and
when especially in a half court set where the ball movement this year
isn't exactly going to be blindingly fast. Plus if he's at the point we
can balance our defense better with either Posey or T. Allen in the
game.
 
It's not ideal, but the following words will be uttered and written a
lot this year: with Pierce, Allen and Garnett - how much spectacular PG
play will be called upon to carry a game. Answer: not as much as you'd
think.

love Rajon, and that's really important, but Ray Allen wants to play
minutes at point guard, and Tony Allen two years ago, when he had a
chance to play point guard, played fantastic. Our offense was more
efficient with Tony Allen playing point guard than with any other guy
during that stretch. 

	
     "And we think Gabe Pruitt can help us there. Even though we don't
want to count on Gabe as a rookie coming in and playing a major, major
role, we feel very confident with him (in that) role in case of an
injury. We think he can help us there as his game evolves. 

	
     "And then Eddie House has played the point, and we think Eddie is
actually a very good fit playing alongside Ray or Tony," Ainge
continued. "So we think we have five guys more than capable of playing
