I wonder why we didn't go after Penny Hardaway. I believe he was reunited with Shaq. Maybe he was beyond our budget

Prior to the KG deal I was hoping for a deal of something like Green and
Scal for Lue and Shelden Williams... now I just don't know that we have
anything left to give...

I argued that Lue has the talent to *maybe* push Rondo for the starting
job, but the accumen and team-first attitude to not make a stink if he
comes off the bench.

All things being equal I wouldn't mind giving Randy Livingston -- NBDL MVP
and college star at LSU -- a shot.  He's 30 and probably looking for his
last shot at the L.

A recent article I read (can't remember the source) quoted Danny as saying
he might be looking to add another point guard.  I know some on this list
have mentioned Tyronn Lue as being a Doc Rivers favorite.  Turns out Tyronn
is also one of KG's best friends.  The following quote is taken from an
article in today's Detroit Free Press headlined "Billups helped convinced
Garnett to become a Celtic."

"Garnett sought counsel from two of his closest friends in the NBA, Billups
and  the  Hawks'  Tyronn Lue while contemplating the move from Minnesota to
Boston."

I wonder....
