Two points by Peter below, one I completely agree with - there is no way
we should play the THREE AMIGOS (Ha, Ha, Ha cough) 40 min plus. That
said with three of them, two of which CAN play the same position (SG)
some of the rotation is shortened because they can rest each other a
bit. Also, remember we've cried for an 8 or 9 man rotation for three
years now. I think we get it this year (barring injury).
 
The second point, alluded to, but not laid out explicitly, is that FA
(THIS summer - right now!) is the ONLY way to flesh out this team. We
don't really have the players or picks to make a mid-year deal (unless
T. Allen comes all the way back or we trade Rondo) this coming season
and would those ADD to our depth or merely be more lateral (I'd argue
lateral personally).
 
So if anyone sees Wyc at the Stop n Shop willya please let him know
this? And also pass along to stay away from the scallops - red tide
season dontcha know.

If Ainge/Wyc toss a pile of money at the best free-agent big man
remaining - however much of the mid-level exception is necessary to get
the job done - and if they bring in one other decent vet, perhaps by
re-signing Gomes if Minny does in fact cut him, I'll sleep a lot better.
But good lord, can you imagine what happens if House, Manuel, Wallace,
Powe and Scalabrine are all on the court at the same time? The all-stars
gotta rest sometime. - Peter
