I think it was a reasonable column and criticisms from Ryan.  Looking at our
roster, the contracts we have to send out in a trade, and so on means that
our options are going to be limited largely to free agency and the draft to
continue building this team.

Free Agency - we arent gonna be under the cap so we will have our exceptions
but the luxury tax is a real consideration.

Trades - who can we send out that isnt in the new big 3 that has a salary
that would bring back what we need?  Scal?  Perk?

Draft - we gave up picks but Danny has shown he can find value later in the
draft and the second round.  That being said, those guys have real ceilings
or take time to develop.

I would do the trade 100 times out of 100, but the simple fact is that we
have dom perignon at the top 3 salary slots and the bottom 7 are going to be
Mad Dog for the forseeable future.
