This team has some question marks, no doubt, but its 2 days after the KG
deal was completed... c'mon there's still time. The concerns are legit,
but so is the excitement about how good this team can be --- that's why
they play the games as the saying goes.

I will say this about Bob Ryan: (a) just about everyone says his
basketball knowledge is unsurpassed but (b) he comes across as just a
complete, first-class Crank.  Whether its on the SPorts Reporters, PTI, or
the movie theater in Boston I worked at... the guy just seems unhappy. 
Does one impact the other? I doubt it.

The sun is shinning on the Boston Celtics --- but it still might rain. the
2 aren't mutually exclusive. No one has seriously said we're going 82-0.
But for the first time in years Ray's 65-win prediction isn't ironic.

I never hated Bob Ryan as much as I do this morning. What an asshole.
And how wrong can you possibly be? That column was as dumb and
wrongheaded as any blogger, or Peter May on his worst day. I hope they
take him off basketball forever, and don't let him write at all during
the
playoffs. I hope he has to live down this column every day for the rest
of
his career. Putz.
