One more thing on this.  I was thinking that our offseason moves thus far are remindful of the Heat's picking up Shaq.

Here's one thing to remember about that Heat championship team.  They stocked that roster with vets all up and down the roster, and not scrubs either.  May have been guys well past their primes, but guys that had been all-stars, like Alonzo Mourning, Walker, Payton, and even lesser light vets like Eddie Jones and Posey.  Even Jayson Williams was a seasoned vet at that point (and Riley had him reign it in).

Just saying, Ryan makes some very legitimate points about our 4-12 roster.  That said, the East could be had this year.  Hate to be a damper, but I don't see our roster in its entirety (as presently constituted) being a championship roster, though we could conceivably reach the Finals.

Who knows though, maybe Danny can now get those former all-star types to come in here and take a discount for a shot at a title.  It's happened before in both LA and Miami.
